Female Cue Sports Ireland have teamed up with the Holy Family All Girl School in Newbridge and are in the process of initiating junior events in Snooker, Billiards and Pool with a great prize at steak for a number of Girls who will embark on a one year Scholarship at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge commencing in June 2024
10 Girls from the Holy Family School have signed up for this inaugural promotion that will be spread across member schools around Ireland in 2025
The girls involved are really excited to get started in cue sports and with a table allocated to the School and scheduled to be delivered in the coming weeks where they will have access to a table on site that will encourage more girls from the school to take up cue sports
The two trained Female Coaches will ensure that the girls wishing to develop their skills and enjoy cue sports have access to the table during school breaks with the possibility of some after school practice
These 10 girls have attended a number of coaching sessions to date delivered by Dan Carroll and Aidan Murray at the Academy at Sharkx Newbridge and are already ahead learning the rules and developing their skills.
