Jackie Trulock from Dublin won her first National Intermediate Snooker Ranking event on the RILSA tour at the Celbridge Snooker Club recently.

Jackie who is only playing on the tour for the second season was runner up on two previous occasions and it was only a matter of time when she would get a win under her belt.

At the semi final stage of the event Jackie Trulock from Dublin ousted Delia Keane also from Dublin with a good win to advance to her 3rd final on tour.  At the other end of the draw Stephanie Foley from Carlow played well against Veronica Hallahan from Dublin to win the frame needed to go through to the final against Jackie

In the final Stephanie kept it close for the most part going to the colours with Jackie making sure she would be in contention of winning the frame as it came down to a black ball which she potted to take the win against Stephanie.

Congratulations to Jackie on her win and well done to Stephanie on a fine performance.  Jackie now is provisional number 3 on the National Intermediate Snooker Rankings a big improvement from her 14th place last season, Stephanie has also improved greatly on the rankings jumping into provisional number 1 spot up from 8th last season.

Thanks to all the ladies for their participation and support and a big thank you to Phil Martin, Joanne and staff of the Celbridge Snooker Club for all their support.
