Grushenka Arnold from Wicklow won the recent 6 Red Snooker Plate Competition at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge
In a prelim match Veronica Hallahan from Dublin had a close encounter with Natalia Trochonowicz from Kildare going all the way to a black ball with Veronica taking it for a place in the semis, awaiting her was Brigid Mulvany from Dublin and Veronica would continue her winning streak taking the frame needed for a place in the final
On the other table Grushenka Arnold from Wicklow and back on tour after an absence soon got into her stride against Christine Carr from Kildare winning the frame for a place in the final against Veronica
The final itself saw both players playing some good safety and like many of these matches over the years it would once more go to a black ball with Grushenka potting it for game and match and back very much in the winners enclosure on the RILSA Snooker Tour for 2026-2027 sesaon
