RILPA National Pool Rankings Update – Louise Maher is Irish Number 1 for the season

Over the past 3 years the Republic of Ireland Ladies Pool Association held three National Pool Championships, it was decided that a National Ranking list be compiled from the 3 Championships along with the Junior Pool League held in 2024 in order to get a list started.

It is our intention to try to hold two ranking events in 2025 along with the Championship going forward.  However with ever increasing pool events around Ireland with the IPA, County events and Ultimate Pool competitions, it may be difficult to please everyone when looking at suitable dates.

We will hold another Junior Pool League during 2025 and with our schools back on board, many have indicated that pool events will be played in the schools

Louise Maher from Kilkenny is our number 1 Pool player and well deserved as she won the Championship for the past 3 years, Christine Carr from Kildare is number 2  followed by Veronica Hallahan from Dublin in 3rd spot after her runner up place in the 2024 Championship and 4th place is Isabella Smith from Kildare our Current Junior Champion

For future reference players for International events or challenge matches will be selected through this ranking list.  Our current Champion will automatically be selected with the number 1 next and should the number 1 be the same as National Champion then number 2 is next and so on down the list
