Stephanie Foley from Carlow is on course to take the number 1 spot on the National Intermediate Billiards Tour this season. With a number of events yet to be played, Stephanie is currently provisionally number 1 just ahead of the current Irish Intermediate Billiards number 1, Valerie Maloney from Laois.
Stephanie who finished 4th last season, has certainly improved her game making great progress on the Intermediate tour while Valerie remains in contention also to take the number 1 spot for the 4th season in a row as she is in a close provisional second place.
Jennifer Earle from Dublin and last season’s number 3 is hoping to make it into the top 2 this season but will have to get good results in the remaining events if she is to progress up the rankings. Jennifer is still in a good position to retain her number 3 spot regardless.
Tina Keogh from Offaly who finished 5th last season is looking good to take 4th place this season as she make progress on the National Intermediate Tour. Tina a former number 2 will be looking at the 2022 season to advance her standings on the National rankings.
So all still to play for when competition resumes in the near future.
