Elizabeth lynch from Offaly is the 2024 National Intermediate Snooker Champion. Elizabeth played great snooker throughout the day to claim her first National Intermediate Snooker title
At the quarter final stage of the competition, Grushenka Arnold from Dublin had a bye into the Semis, while Christine Carr from Kildare after a great 2 nil result against Joanna Ward also from Kildare advanced to Meet Grushenka in the semis
At the other end of the draw Elizabeth Lynch from Offaly saw off Jennifer Earle from Dublin 2 frames to nil playing solid snooker. Delia Keane from Dublin was up against daughter Savannah Keane in this quarter final clash with Delia advancing to the semis on a 2 frames to nil win to meet Elizabeth and complete the semi final line up
In the semi finals Christine had to dig deep and call on her experience on tour to just get over the line against the ever improving Grushenka going to the pink and black ball games respectively for a 2 nil win and a place in the final, while Elizabeth won the first comfortably it was a hard fight in frame 2 but she took in on the colours to meet Christine in the final
In the final Christine struggled to keep her form from her previous matches as Elizabeth excelled through both frames to take the win 2 nil and the title of RILSA National Intermediate Snooker Champion 2024
