The Republic of Ireland Ladies Pool Association’s Junior development plan got underway at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge with 10 young girls from Kildare competing in their very first Pool Competition.
After a few weeks coaching from World Professional Coaches Dan Carroll and Aidan Murray the girls were excited to play each other in a round robin format in Pool.
With each girl having to play two frames of Pool in each of their 9 matches, it would take a number of weeks to complete.
After all the matches were completed it would be Isabella Smith who would finish the victor and claim the Inaugural Kildare Junior Pool Championship title 2024. Aoifa Murphy would take the runner up place followed by Sadie Daly and Elsie Whelan in 3rd and 4th place respectively
Congratulations to Isabella on her win and well done to Aoife on her runner up place. Thanks to all the girls for their participation. A special thanks to the Holy Family School Newbridge and Dearbhail Dowling along with the Principal Sarah Allen and all the teachers for their support in making this event a reality for the girls.
Thanks to Aidan Murray and Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their help and support during this development for junior girls cue sports
