Jennifer Earle from Dublin wins her second National Intermediate Billiards Ranking event, making it two in a row of the season at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently
In the first session of this timed event two newcomers mother and daughter duo Veronica Hallahan and Jackie Trulock both from Dublin, got their very first National Intermediate Billiards match underway with Jackie just pipping Veronica on the alarm taking the win 33-29. Stephanie Foley from Carlow had a close match against Jennifer Earle from Dublin to take the win on the clock 37-25
In session two, Stephanie took the win against Jackie 39-21 on the alarm and Jennifer had a good win with a few small breaks over Veronica in their match 42-21 as the seconds ticked down.
Stephanie would see off Veronica 44-18 in a strong performance in their match and Jennifer scored well against Jackie to finish on the alarm 66-18 to take the win
With the scores added up it was Jennifer who would secure her second win of the season so far with Stephanie taking runner up place. Congratulations to Jennifer on her win and well done to Stephanie on her performance. We are delighted to see newcomers to women’s Billiards Veronica and Jackie get started on tour and we wish them well for the rest of the season
Jennifer is currently provisional number 1 just 300 points ahead of Stephanie as we head into the last event of the season next week, so still all to play for as the last event may see yet another new name listed as Irish National Intermediate Billiards number 1 player
