Tina Keogh from Offaly secured the National Intermediate Billiards number 1 ranked player in Ireland after a flawless season on the Intermediate Billiards Women’s Tour this season.

Having won all 4 National Intermediate Ranking events she now sits top of the National Intermediate Billiards Ranking for the first time.  Tina also won the National Intermediate Billiards Championship last December and continued her domination on the tour for 2022.

Next week Tina will once again take to the green baize at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge to try and retain her National Intermediate Billiards title and equal that of Valerie Maloney from Laois who was the first player to do that in 2019 and 2020

On the National Billiards Tour we see much improvement in a number of players who will be in contention next week such as Jennifer Earle from Dublin who was runner up to Tina last year and once again Valerie Maloney will be in the mix to try and get a 3rd title.  Stephanie Foley from Carlow who finished last season as number 1 will also be out to take the title for the first time.

The top 4 on the National Billiards Ranking are

1  Tina Keogh

2  Stephanie Foley

3  Valerie Maloney

4  Jennifer Earle

Congratulations to Tina on her number 1 spot and well done to all our ladies who participate and support female Billiards

We at RILSA wish all our players a very successful National Intermediate Championship for 2022
