Jackie Trulock from Dublin won the first National Intermediate Billiards Ranking event at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently and in doing so keeps the current Irish Number 1 ranked Intermediate Billiards player on track to hopefully retain her number 1 spot by the end of the 2026 season
Veronica Hallahan from Dublin took runner up place in the event only 1 point behind Jackie
In this round robin timed event we saw Veronica Hallahan from Dublin get her first win on the 2026 Intermediate Billiards tour against the current National Intermediate Billiards Champion and Irish number 1 Jackie Trulock from Dublin in a low scoring match 51-35 on the alarm
Brigid Mulvany from Dublin got her first win on the tour with a 3 point win on the alarm against newcomer Jess Curran from Kildare in another low scoring match
In the second session Veronica continued her winning streak against Jess and Jackie increased her scoring against Brigid to take the win on the alarm
The final session would see Veronica take the win against Brigid and Jackie took the win against Jess in their match
With the scores tallied it would be Jackie who would claim gold by 1 point against Veronica in second spot
Congratulations to Jackie on her win and well done to Veronica on her runner up place.

We welcome our newcomer Jess Curran on the National Intermediate Billiards Tour and we wish her well during the season and thanks to all the ladies who participated
Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for their support as always
