The Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association Board members completed the Safeguarding 1 Course with Carlow Sports Partnership recently.
The course was conducted via Zoom and presented by Carlow Sports Partnership with Instructor Ken Kavanagh delivering the three hour course.
The Full Board of RILSA were in attendance, as its the Associations policy that all Board members complete this course every 3 years.
The course outlined the importance of good practice in delivering safe coaching to children and vulnerable adults.

We will have two representatives from the Board complete Safeguarding 2 soon followed by a representative to complete Safeguarding 3 when it is available.
