Tina Keogh from Offaly and our current National Intermediate Billiards Champion continued her winning streak when she won the 3rd National Intermediate Billiards Ranking event at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently, making it 3 in a row for the Offaly woman

Tina won her round robin matches on the evening against Valerie Maloney from Laois and Stephanie Foley from Carlow in closely contested timed games with a 54-52 over Stephanie and 42-36 over Valerie.  Stephanie would take runner up spot for the 3rd time in a row also.

Tina extends her points at the top of the Intermediate Rankings for the first time followed in 2nd spot by Stephanie,  Valerie 3rd place and holding 4th is Jennifer Earle from Dublin.

Tina has a good lead  at the top of the rankings and is looking good to finish number 1 for 2022.  The battle for the number 2 spot is still up for grabs with just one more ranking event remaining, so it will all boil down to this event where Stephanie and Valerie will be contention to see who finishes the season in second place.

Congratulations to Tina on her win and to Stephanie on her runner up place.  We thank all our players for their support as always.  Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for their help and support towards female cue sports.
